This year, exceptionally, the CEA Annual Meeting is held in conjunction
with the 2008 Congress
of the Humanities and Social Sciences organized by the Canadian
Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences.
However, registration for the CEA and Congress 2008
is separate:
- Primary participants of the CEA conference
(which includes all paper presenters) and all CEA members
must register through the CEA web site (click on the
"Advance Registration" button on the left).
- Participants
from other disciplines who wish to attend CEA sessions, or
CEA members who wish to attend Congress sessions in other disciplines
(e.g., political science) and are not paper presenters at
CEA sessions, should register through the
Congress 2008 registration page. Registering through the Congress
is more expensive for CEA members and refunds are not available.

Advance registration for the conference commences.
Early registration fees are in effect until April 30.

Last day for prospective session organizers to
contact the program office for booking blocks of sessions.

| February 22, 2008 |
Last day for submitting papers or
abstracts to the conference organizer.

| March 20, 2008 |
Last day for travel grant applications to be
submitted to the CEA Secretary-Treasurer.

| April 15, 2008 |
Last day for notifying paper submitters on the
acceptance or rejection of their paper for presentation. |
| April 30, 2008 |
Last day for paper presenters to register.
Presenters must register by this date
or lose their conference program slot.

| May 1, 2008 |
Late registration fees apply.

| May 22, 2008 |
Late registration ends. All further conference registrations
must be done at the conference site.
