Registration fees can only be paid by credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) or Interac (debit) using our CEA membership management system. We do not accept other types of payments during advance registration. Specifically, we do not accept cheques (government or personal), purchase orders, or registrations by fax. Those unable to use government/company credit cards on-line will need to use their own personal credit card to register and then submit to their employer a claim for reimbursement. Cash payments and credit card payments can be made in person when checking in at the conference venue. We make refunds subject to a $40 processing fee deduction until and including May 8, 2015. No refunds will be made after that date.

Important Notice: All credit card payments to the Canadian Economics Association will appear on your credit card or bank statement as UBC E-PAYMENT WWW.UBC.CA or UNIVERSITY OF BC. The University of British Columbia manages the credit card payment services for the CEA. If you use a commercial or government credit card, please advise your Accounts Office.

Membership in the Canadian Economics Association is priced at CAD 50.00 (discounted to CAD 20.00 for students and retirees) and is tied to a subscription to the Canadian Journal of Economics (CJE). Conference participants who are currently not members of the CEA are strongly encouraged to join the CEA. To sign up for the CEA, visit our membership page.

If you have any questions about your conference registration, please contact the CEA Program Office (cea2015@economics.ca). Should you encounter any technical difficulties with the online credit card payment system, please contact Werner Antweiler for assistance.

For CAES members who are also CEA members or already have a CEA account, please log in at my.economics.ca. If you are not sure if you have an account with the CEA, please check if you already have an account with the CEA. If you already have an account, log in to your account, click on "Study Groups", select your CAES affiliation for 2015, and click on "Update" to save. If you do not have an account with the CEA, please use the register-and-pay option above for CAES members. This will create a guest account and automatically declare your CAES affiliation for 2015. When your account is set up, click on the "Make Payment" menu item in the sidebar to purchase a conference registration.
