CEA 2001 Annual Meeting

Detailed Instructions for Submitting Papers

The deadline for submitting abstracts is 1 March 2001. An entire paper may be submitted, if it is available, but the paper must include an abstract. Papers may be in either English or French. The submission should be sent to

Submission of papers by e-mail to cea2001@qed.econ.queensu.ca is encouraged. If you submit by e-mail, you can incorporate the abstract in the text of your message, or you can use a pdf attachment or a postscript attachment. Please do not use attachments in the format of any proprietary word processor. In particular, do not use MS Word attachments (.doc files) for papers or abstracts.

Whether or not a paper is submitted by e-mail, the abstract must be submitted using the on-line registration form for paper presenters. The abstract should be approximately 100 words. All fields of specialization within economics will be considered. Every submission must include one or more JEL classification codes. Also, please include the names of one or two possible discussants.

By submitting a paper, you indicate that you are also willing to serve as a discussant and/or program chair at other sessions. Please state your principal areas of specialization.

Please note that, in order to present a paper at the Annual Meeting, you must be a member of the Canadian Economics Association, and you must also register for the meeting. If you are not a member or have not registered for the conference, you may join or register after you find out whether your paper is accepted for presentation.
