Vancouver International Airport is located just 16km southeast of UBC, about 25-30 minutes by car or taxi. Travel distance and travel time from the airport to downtown Vancouver is about the same.Taxis
Taxis charge a metered rate based on time and distance travelled. The approximate fare from the airport to downtown Vancouver is $25-$30 (inclusive of all taxes) under normal conditions. The approximate fare from the airport to the UBC campus is about $28-$35. Taxis are readily available outside both the Domestic and International terminals.Shuttle-Bus

If you are traveling by car, drive westbound along either 4th Avenue, 10th Avenue, 16th Avenue, or 41st Avenue into Southwest Marine Drive (check the UBC Parking web site for information about rates). Please be aware of construction-related detours around the main gate (University Boulevard and Wesbrook Mall) and entering the university westbound along 16th Avenue.
