Banff, AB is a Canadian National Historic Site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Canada's first national park. It is approximately 150 km west of Calgary in the Rocky Mountains. For things to do while in Banff, good sources are the Town of Banff website and the Parks Canada website.


Conference Venue

The conference will take place at the Banff Centre. Both the Friday evening reception and the Saturday night dinner will be at the Banff Centre.

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Banff Centre at the group rate of $170 per night plus applicable taxes. This rate is available only until August 30th. The rate includes access to the Banff Centre's fitness facilities. Please note there is a surcharge for additional guests.

Airport Information

Banff is approximately 150 km or 90 minutes from Calgary. Please note that if you choose to rent a vehicle, you will need a Parks Canada annual pass or will have to pay an entry fee. For more details, please visit the Parks Canada website.
